Stand by Carmen: Surgery and Recovery Aid

Family & Friends,

I, Jennifer Pace and Angelica Trammel are daughters of Carmen Rodriguez, and we are seeking your help; Our mother has been going through a very difficult time since late last year suffering from osteoarthritis throughout her body.

In March her arthritis had progressed severely in her knee and hip. Our mom is finally making the tough decision to have both surgeries starting on September 25, 2025 for her right total knee replacement. Then 6 weeks later on November 06, 2025 she will have her left total hip replacement.

At this point Carmen has tried medication, steroid shots, and just coping with bone-on-bone arthritis with several bone spurs that are affecting her activities of daily living. Her only option is to have these two major surgeries.

Our Mom is ready for these surgeries. As we know that she has a long road ahead of her for recovery, physical therapy, and doctor appointments. Our mother is responsible for the out-of-pocket cost (Not covered by insurance) and also her monthly rent and the monthly bills, which your donations and contributions will go towards.

If you know our mom, you have seen her work hard and maintain her financial responsibilities to provide for herself. We are asking for your prayers, love and support to help Carmen to be able to go through this difficult time of the two surgeries and to move forward with her life as they say, " back to normal". Her normal means health wise to be able to get back on track and go back to work.

We are also looking for someone to come visit for a couple of days if you would like to come stay after the two surgeries especially the first 1-2 months are critical to have a family or friend with her for safety reasons.
