Sandra Crook having 2 cancers within a year

Hi, my name is Kayla Brown and I’m fundraising for Sandra Adam’s Nelson Crook. We have been best friends for over 50 years. She is an awesome person who loves her family. Loves her grandchildren so much. And people love her for the person she is. She’s always been a giving and loving person.

In January 2023 she was diagnosed with colon cancer. She ended up taking radiation, chemo medication and results ending in her having an Ostomy bag for the rest of her life. She struggled but finally made it through all of that.

In July 2023 she found out she had liver cancer. A totally different kind than the previous cancer. So she had to take several rounds of chemo. Struggled with the sickness, losing her hair. She is still doing treatments today. Yesterday she had radiation done and it’s taking a toll.

Through all this she has tried to keep a positive attitude about having 2 different cancers within a year!
