It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing away of our beautiful Grandfather, father, brother and kind soul, Kalis Miah Kamaly.
His soul is now with Allah - we ask that Allah accepts him with the reward of a Shaheed and resurrects him with the nabiyyin, siddiqin, shuahadaa and saliheen.
On behalf of our dear Nana Bhai, Kalis Miah Kamaly, we have made the intention for this Sadaqah Jariyah, to build a mosque, a place where our Grandfather's heart resided.

MATW Islamic Projects are aimed at providing poverty-stricken communities with a secure and clean place to pray and connect as a community. These centres are built in both remote and city locations throughout West Africa, providing communities with a safe space to worship Allah SWT in peace and comfort. These centres also serve as a source of bonding and learning for many newly reverted Muslims and provides the community with educational opportunities where children and adults can learn to read and recite the Quran.
These Centres host the weekly Jumua prayers on Fridays, Eid prayers, daily prayers and Iftar/Ramadan prayers. They can comfortably accommodate between 250-500 people at any given time!
This mosque is built in remote areas far from Lome, such as: Burkina Faso, Cinkasse and Benin. The size is 23m x 9m.
Up to 500 people can pray inside this Masjid and it is utilised for 5 daily prayers 7 days a week, including Jummah. Masjid Includes, Wudu area, classrooms
The Prophet ﷺ said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)." [Bukhari]
