Ryan’s Fund
Donation protected
My name is Agnes Estorninos and I would like to appeal for your generous support for my husband, Ryan. As some of you may know, Ryan has been through a lot of obstacles that have prevented him from living a normal life. He was diagnosed with a disease called Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (or FSGS) in 2012 which led to renal failure shortly after that. He was blessed to have a transplant from a living donor in 2014 but the disease had affected the new kidney within a month after surgery. He underwent plasmapheresis after that and numerous expensive medications to save the new kidney from FSGS, but to no avail. He experienced renal failure once again and so dialysis was next. He has been on dialysis since 2015.
Ryan has a love hate relationship with his dialysis machine. He knows it keeps him alive but it also limits him. He decided one day that he wants to have a better quality of life and sought out a way to do that. The next step would be to get on the transplant list. After only one year of waiting, he got the call that a kidney was available. His second transplant happened on July 29, 2019 at 1:30am.
With all that said, the sequence of events above have taken a toll on Ryan’s career and ability to work. With all his health issues and constant doctor’s appointments, it has been very hard for him to work a regular 9-5 job. He has been self-employed ever since.
Ryan’s recent transplant has put him in a stressful situation. Being self employed has its disadvantages. The medical bills (and other bills) are piling up and he is getting worried.
And so, on behalf of Ryan and my entire family, I would like to appeal for your generous support. It would be best for Ryan to focus on his healing and health and not have to worry about how the bills are going to get paid.
We thank you all for your concern, prayers, and generosity. We ask that you continue to pray for Ryan and his full recovery and healing.
God bless you all!
