My name is Kieran Griffin. I will be running the Dublin City Marathon on October 26th in support of Marymount Hospice. Located in Cork it offers extraordinary support and services to those who need it. It provides specialist palliative care of the highest standard for those with a life limiting illness.
I am doing this in memory of my brother Finbarr who lost his brave battle to Cancer in October 2023. He was only 47! He spent his final weeks in Marymount Hospice. The care and support he and his family received was exceptional.
So in return I have taken up the challenge to complete the marathon in a few weeks time. Any support would be greatly appreciated. It would mean so much to me and our family to give something back to Marymount and to help others going through a similar situation.
Many thanks for your support !
