Rest in Peace to our Dear David Keita Nange
Donation protected
On Friday, September 2, 2022, we lost a great son of Mabaan, A grandfather, father, brother, and mentor. He was a man amongst men who exhibited exemplary leadership, grace, and compassion. He was loved by so many in our community and beyond.
On Wednesday, August 31st, a speeding motorcyclist struck David as he crossed the busy intersection of 30th & Titus Ave, resulting in a traumatic brain injury that left our dear father in a coma. Due to the severity of this injury, he transitioned two days later, on Friday evening, September 2, 2022.
David had the purest, the most angel-like soul that touched everyone he came in contact with during the 58 years of life he spent here with us. In addition, David was a man of strong faith and served as a Sudanese Ministry Leader at Grace Lutheran Church in Omaha for the last two decades.
David was a tremendous influence to many; he was one everyone looked up to. David Nange was the glue and the peacemaker of the family and the whole Mabaan community. He raised, advised, and inspired many young people in our community. David leaves a legacy of impactful and strong leadership, and all Mabaan worldwide have greatly felt his loss. His light will shine forever as he instilled this virtue into our hearts through his graceful nature. He was always telling stories and making everyone laugh, and he never made anyone feel left out. With his wide smile and sweet soul, David Nange will never be forgotten. He will always be remembered for his loving, generous, patient soul. We are asking for donations to help lay our dear David to rest.
