Renee's Transplant fund

Hi friends and family! As you know I've been working hard the last 4 years to get on the transplant list. Well that time is here. I'm officially listed and can be called for a transplant any day! After receiving the transplant I'll be off work for at least 2 months maybe 3. I do receive ssi but that is literally enough to cover my rent. I will need other means to be covered like utilities, gas to and from the several doctors appointments I have; downtown parking fees several times a week. Medications that are not fully covered by insurance.( I will have to take anti-rejection drugs for the rest of my life that are very costly). Also, just the little things you need from day to day like toiletries and food. We are encouraged by our transplant team to think ahead about the expenses and plan accordingly.  Anything will help.
