Service Trip to Hunduras

In four short weeks Cassie will be embarking on an amazing experience. She has the privilege of volunteering in a school in Hunduras for one year. Honduras is ranked the third poorest country in the world and ranked the worlds most violent country. The schools in this country are failing. Students do not have access to a fair and equitable schooling. BECA, the program in which she will be volunteering for, allows for students who normally would not be able to afford a private education to reviece an education that will allow them to move up the social and economic scale. BECA provides their volenteers housing and food, but extras such as hygiene products, school supplies, toilet trees, classroom materials, cleaning products, airfair, visa fees, travel expeinces, and any other "extras" are not covered. BECA recommends volenteers bring 2500 dollars with them, and we are hoping that with help from you, this will be possible for me. Thank you all so much for listing.
