Powerpoint Engineering’s 2025 Charity Cycle – In Memory of Emlyn O’Reilly

Supporting Friends of the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore

This September, the Powerpoint Engineering team will take on our 5th Annual Charity Cycle, covering 635km in 4 days across Croatia – from Lovinac to Dubrovnik, 19th–22nd September 2025.

This year’s cycle is our hardest and is especially close to our hearts, as we cycle in support of “Friends of the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore”, in memory of our dear friend and colleague, Emlyn O’Reilly, who sadly passed away on 26th July 2025 after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Emlyn was an extraordinary person—an exceptional colleague, a loyal friend and a true gentleman. His positivity, warm spirit, quick wit and strong faith touched everyone who worked with him. Emlyn faced his illness with remarkable courage and dignity, and he will be deeply missed by all of us.

In memory of Emlyn and his wishes, this year we are raising funds for “Friends of the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore”. This registered charity is a 100% voluntary organisation that supports the special care rooms and gardens in Tullamore Hospital—spaces designed to offer comfort, dignity and peace to patients and their families during these most difficult times. Emlyn spent his final two weeks in one of these rooms, surrounded by love and care in a calm, dignified and respectful setting.

This charity meant so much to Emlyn and his loved ones—and also means a great deal to us. We would be so grateful for your support.
