Help Sharon Rebuild After Losing Her Home to a Devastating Lightning Storm

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my mother, Sharon, a dedicated Air Force Veteran, who has recently faced an unimaginable hardship. A devastating lightning storm struck her apartment building, causing a fire that destroyed her home. We are so grateful that Sharon was able to escape safely thanks to the quick actions of a neighbor, but all her belongings are considered lost and the building uninhabitable.

This tragic event is especially difficult because my mother has already faced housing instability. During the height of the COVID pandemic, she was forced to sell her previous home, and now, once again, she finds herself needing to start over.

We’re hoping to rally together to help my mother rebuild her life. The funds raised will go directly towards helping her secure a new place to live and replace essential items that were lost in the fire.
