Please help Lasher! My kitty boy

My boy Lasher is sick. Lasher is a rescue cat I took in from living on the streets in Glace Bay. He was un-neutered, malnourished and freezing in the winter. He is also an aggressive boy, saucy, misunderstood and not super adoptable, so I kept him rather than trying to explain to potential adopters that he might .... bite and attack.

I don't like asking for help but I really need it right now. He went into the vet July 3rd for a urinary blockage which is a life threatening condition, he couldn't pee and was treated. The treatment at home failed to work and back again we went this morning, July 4th as an emergency. I have cat insurance. so the bulk of it will be covered, for which I'm very grateful. It saved his life. My worst nightmare, a blocked cat happened... so I'm very grateful and happy that most of his bills are covered and he can come home after a few days in the hospital.

I normally wouldnt ask for help... I normally plan in advance for things like this and have savings and stuff but I just didnt have enough and depleted my savings on the first visit.. I just got laid off from work. Today, Friday is my last day so having all these extra costs while anticipating EI that won't be much is weighing on me. This has happened at the worst time, and I'm overwhelmed.

I've already paid over $600 for yesterday's bill and still have $894.72 to go for the rest of the weekend treatment. That includes a part of a deductible, 10% co-pay, anything not covered by insurance and taxes . The vet bill total is $2871.15.

At any other time in my life, I would have this covered, but the $900 portion I still need to pay is beyond my means right now with the layoff.

I would sincerely appreciate any help, any donation, any kind words. This ordeal has been terrifying and I thought I was going to lose him. He is the sweetest and craziest cat, he deserves to have a full, long life and I just really need some help right now.
