Help my son fight cancer

My name is marcela

on early january after a visit to the ER, my 17 year son (Steven) was admitted to tha hospital with acute pain on his upper left leg. After many tests and many visits to the hospital we were given the terrible news that steven had been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer).

Although treatable with chemo therapy, the road ahead for my son will be long and painful. The theraý will be administered for the next seven months. Steven is so close to graduating from high school, but unfortunate this must be put on hold until

he feels well enough to return to classes.

My son has many different interest, like playing guitar with his friends, among others activities, but because of his treatments we will have to be very careful to keep him away from not only COVID, but the common cold, etc.This will make visits from his friends at a very minimun and with extra care.

We have been talking about college and his future, but now we have to focus on his treatments and his upcoming surgery to remove the affected bone tissue, and put a metal plate to reinforce the bone and preventing a fracture or breakage.

As you can imagine this has put a tremendous burden on our family. Not only emotionally, but finacialy as well.

I had made the decision to leave my full time job to take care of my son, physically and emotonally with only one income things have been very difficult, i"m trying to raise funds to help with the cost of gas, food and utilities. Any donations will be helpful and very much appreciated.
