Norman Pelletier Sr (norms bait and tackle)

Donation protected
In loving memory of Norman Pelletier Sr. best known for Norms bait and tackle on Rossiter Street in Barrington. Passed away on October 6th after a seven year battle with cancer. Norman moved from Holyoke to Great Barrington about 40 years ago and loved the town and the people. Anyone that knew norm knows he never had two nickels to rub together but he gave the most precious thing anyone can give in life, that was his time. He was responsible for starting and running a yearly fishing derby that many local children participated in. He also started and made all of the creatures for the haunted house and ran it for years. He worked at the corn crib for a lot of years as well as for different contractors doing odd jobs. His final job was working at Vivian’s antique shop (Berkshire home and Antiques). Norman was never afraid to give us time and whatever little he had to his neighbors when they were in need. I hope people remember that about him, because he never had any monetary value available to him. I'm hoping we can come together to send him on his final journey.

There will be a celebration of life at the American Legion in Sheffield on October 30th from 12:00pm - 4:00pm. If anyone feels more comfortable donating in person, feel free to donate during the celebration of life. We greatly appreciate anything you can donate as we understand times are tough right now.
