For over ten years, Alli has been the welcoming face and warm heart of our office, making each visit feel personal and caring. Now, our dear friend and colleague is facing an unimaginable hardship and needs our support.
Alli's husband, Mando (Armando), just 43 years old, has been fighting a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer for almost 2 years. Sadly, his illness has now progressed to the final stages. He has entered hospice care, and their family is preparing for a profound loss. Together, Mando and Alli have a bright and loving 8-year-old son, Leo (Leonardo), who is still too young to fully understand the enormity of what is happening.
Mando has always been a dedicated, hardworking, and generous person, known for his kindness and resilience. As the primary provider for his family, he has always worked hard to ensure they have a stable and loving home. However, his health has prevented him from working for over 18 months. During this difficult time, Alli has been more than a wife; she has been his primary caregiver, emotional rock, and the sole financial provider, balancing her role at our office with the immense responsibilities at home. As his condition has worsened, Alli made the difficult decision to leave work, dedicating her time to being with Mando and Leo, cherishing these final moments together as a family. Her recent departure to care for him full-time leaves them with no source of income. The financial strain of ongoing medical bills, end-of-life care, and daily expenses has added a significant burden to an already heartbreaking situation. Our goal is to ease the weight of these financial burdens so that Alli and Leo can focus on cherishing these final days with Mando and finding peace together.
Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly to Alli to help with medical expenses, immediate living costs, funeral costs, and to ensure stability for their son during this challenging time. Your support, whether through a donation or by sharing this story, would mean the world to them.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity, and for standing by our dear friend and colleague in her hour of need.
