Mosley and Courtney need our help

Hi there,

My name is Michelle, and I am one of Courtney's close friends. This is not something anyone wants to ask for help with, but Courtney and her amazing dog, Mosley, need our help. I am creating this GoFundMe to give them the help that they need.

Mosley is Courtney's six-year-old boxer and is one of the sweetest and most pure dogs to exist. Mosley LOVES every person she meets and greets them with her little wagging nub tail and with as many kisses as you can stand. She oozes love and brings so much happiness to everyone around her.

To anyone that knows Courtney, you know how big of a heart she has. She is one of the kindest and most empathetic humans who would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Additionally, if you know Courtney, you KNOW she loves Mosley to the fullest degree. Mosley has been with Courtney through some of the toughest times of her life and has been her guiding light through all of the bad days. Courtney has treated Mosley like the princess she is and has surrounded her with so much love and joy and almost every dog toy you've ever seen. Courtney would do anything for her Mosley.

Over the past few months, Mosley has not been feeling like herself. What started with some lazier days and some lethargic timeframes has quickly progressed to Mosley not being able to go up and down the stairs and losing an extreme amount of muscle mass around her head and back legs. From the very first day of symptoms, Courtney immediately knew something was wrong.

Courtney has made countless trips to her primary vet, emergency vet, and trips to many, many specialists ($$$) trying to determine what has been causing the issues, but all of the doctors have not been able to pinpoint the issue. From predictions of acid reflux, to allergies, to ear infections, to kidney disease, to irregular heartbeats, none of these have been the primary issue. Mosley has gone through extensive testing and multiple medications to help, but none of this has worked and her health continues to decline.

The most recent visit has been to a neurologist who wants to move forward with an MRI on Mosley to help get some answers on what the root cause is. The quote from the neurologist is $8,000, which is astronomically high for Courtney to support on her own, especially after months and thousands of dollars spent on additional vet and specialist visits and testing. Although Courtney has pet insurance for Mosley, only a very small portion of the visits, medications, and testing have been covered, and the same goes for this MRI.

The goal of this would be to raise as much as we can to help alleviate the financial burden on Courtney so she can pay for this service to finally get the answers she needs for Mosley. It doesn't matter if it's a small amount; any amount will help. Please help us help Courtney and Mosley.
