Hi there,
My name is Keaton. 6 weeks ago my family’s world turned upside down when my brother, Mat, became deathly ill. He suddenly developed COVID-19, pneumonia, and sepsis, and then had an anaphylactic reaction to the antibiotics. As a result, he was put on a ventilator and spent weeks in the ICU, clinging to life. Amazingly, despite many complications and doctors preparing us for the worst, Mat survived. However, his journey is far from over…
Mat and his wife, Tally, face mounting medical expenses that insurance doesn’t cover. He has already missed over 6 weeks of work and unfortunately will miss several more as he is still facing serious ongoing health issues.
Right now he is currently in a rehabilitation facility, trying to regain strength to complete and relearn even the most basic tasks that most of us take for granted- like using his hands and walking.
Just today Mat received the devastating news that the blindness in his left eye- caused by the sepsis- is permanent. This is yet another hurdle that he and his family have to somehow overcome.
The financial burden has become unbelievably overwhelming and so to help them, I am humbly asking for financial support for my beloved brother Mat, Tally, and their two children.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in easing the burden of hospital bills, rehabilitation costs, at-home rehab equipment, transportation fees, and daily expenses for their family.
