Hi everyone, I am currently raising funds for a stray cat who has come to adopt me - I named him Marvin (Marvy Marv as I call him).

If you don't already know, California has quite a drastic stray cat problem and as a cat lover with a bleeding heart I have been trying to do all I can for the cats in my community since moving here in July. Marvin has become a special case for me as he is exceptionally sweet and has such a strong personality. He has taken to living in our driveway and neighbor's yard and runs to meet us when we come home from work. He loves being pet and held and is one of the sweetest cats I have ever met. He likes to sun bathe on the hood of my car. He's silly, loud, and loves wet food more than anything.

Unfortunately, we do not have the funds nor the space for another pet. I was attempting to get him neutered and vaccinated before finding him a home through low cost resources in the area, but on November 1st at MJC's Vet Tech clinic I learned that Marvin is in desperate need of a full veterinary exam and a dental cleaning (with possible extractions) prior to vaccines or neutering. Unfortunately, I'm unable to afford this cost on my own. Rescues and shelters are drowning here, so I'm dedicated to trying to get Marvin the care he needs and placing him with a loving home. I have attached a photo of his veterinary exam notes from MJC in an effort of transparency.
