We are pleased to present the most eloborate and detailed MahAbhArata UpanyAsam ever done !! This will appear as UpanyAsam series on YouTube - with first installment of at least 100 hours.
The MahAbhAratam, which gave us the Bhagavad Geeta is an epic that is ingrained into our Dharma and gives us many morals & lessons for every situation in life.
Though many of us are familiar with the main Story-line and certain popular Anecdotes or Stories from the MahAbhArata, most of us have not had the opportunity to listen to this epic's detailed explanation, the many stories and nuances intertwined into the various Parvas of this great epic.
Shri. U. Ve Dr. V. S. Karunakarachariar; whose unique style of rendering of the UpanyAsam s from the MahAbhAratam such as Yaksha prashnam, Virata Parva etc are immensely popular; is now going to enthrall us all with a very detailed and never before heard UpanyAsam of the Mahabharatam spanning more than 100 hours: with many unheard-of Anecdotes & Stories from the this MahAkAvyam.
This series of UpanyAsam would also cover topics hitherto lesser explored by UpanyAsakars such as ShAnti Parva, VidhuraNeeti, and Yaksha Prashnam in great detail.

A brief about this Mahavidwan
Lineage
· Hails from the lineage of Sri Nadadoor Azhwan, nephew of Bhagavad Ramanujar.
· Bhagavad Ramanujar gifted the Sribhasya Simhasanam to Sri Nadadoor Azhwan for scribing the Sri Bhashya, the commentary to the Brahma-Sutra, as and when it was recited by him.
· Sri Nadadoor Ammal who was grandson of Sri Nadadoor Azhwan was the Pracharyan (grand preceptor) of Sri Swami Desikan.
· Ghatikshatam Ammal or Chinna Ammal of the same lineage was the achAryan of Sri Adivan Satakopan, who established Sri Ahobila Mutt
· Dr.Karunakarachariar swami is the 28th descendent of Sri Nadadoor Azhwan and the 26th descendent of Sri Nadadoor Ammal.

• Studied Sri Bhashyam, Baghavadvishayam, Geeta Bhashyam and Rahasya Traya Saram - The four fundamental Granthas for Sri Vaishnavas under his father
• SwAmi performs Panchasamskaram and Bharanyasam for Thirumaligai Sishyas.
• Regular participant as front-line Scholar in Vidwat Sadas conducted by Ahobila Mutt, Andavan Ashramam, Parakala Mutt, Sringeri Mutt etc.
• He is a Kalakshepa Pariksha Adhikari and also regularly conducts kaalakshepams on Sribhasyam, Gita Bhashyam, Rahasyatraya saaram, Bhagavad Vishayam
• He Conducts about 10 Vidwat Sadas every year all of which are well attended.
