Gabriel, Emma and their boys need our help and our prayers. On Wednesday night, January 27th, Gabriel suffered a stroke and underwent brain surgery. Doctors found a blood clot in his foot and brain.  Emma was told that Gabriel would not walk or talk again. But Emma believes in the power of God and miracles. Gabriel is at Hoag Hospital and the doctors and nurses have been amazing. There was a second brain surgery planned for Gabriel, but he is responding well to the medicine so they are holding off. 

Emma is the most hard working person I know. She is also the most loving and caring.  She has been a part of our family for over  6 years and I know is family to so many. She is so special. Her husband Gabriel - just as hard working. He works a full time factory job and assists in the kitchen in the evenings at Johnny’s Real New York pizza in Corona Del Mar.  They need our help with Gabriel out of work and the medical bills to come. Emma and Gabriel have one son who graduated Newport Harbor High School and an 8th grader at Ensign.  

No amount is too small. Please pray for the Vega family and that Gabriel has a full recovery. Emma says your prayers are working. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
