Leap of Faith Skydive for The Kirkwood September 2024

I am taking a leap of faith for The Kirkwood on Sunday 8th September 2024 and jumping from the UK's highest skydive, freefalling from 15,000ft at speeds reaching up to 120mph!

I'm raising money in aid of Kirkwood Hospice and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. My own beautiful mum Maureen was offered wonderful care and pain management whilst in her care home in Holmfirth at her end of life and the kindness and expertise was so important both to her and our family.

Whether you're newly diagnosed or struggling to cope with a bereavement - simply reach out to them. They also provide wellbeing sessions, help with symptom management, support for carers and families, one to one and group bereavement counselling. In Kirklees it is actually The Kirkwood who actually provide palliative care for people at home and in care homes (not Macmillan). They support people affected by any life limiting illness, including MND, Parkinson's, Heart Failure and COPD, as well as cancer.
