Hi, my name is Shiloh and I'm a wee senior West Highland Terrier. Recently, I found myself alone, grieving, and in need of a home because my Dad got sick and went to the hospital, and I never saw him again. Even though everyone says I'm sweet and loving, nobody wanted me. I was days away from being euthanized when a kind family heard about my situation and immediately brought me home with them. Now I'm loved and cared for by two parents, a brother and two doggie siblings. I couldn't be happier...except for this thing in my ear that really bothers me.
As you can see in my pictures, I have a huge growth on my ear that the vet says is as big as a golf ball. It makes it hard to lift my ear as it's very heavy! It has also caused a bad infection in my ear. My new mom puts drops in my ear every day and it is starting to feel better now. I visited the vet for vaccines, bloodwork and even have an appointment to have that tumor removed, as well as a growth on the back of my other ear too. I overheard my new parents say that it will be very expensive, but that they will help me with whatever I need. They are such a kind, compassionate family that I wish I could help them with my vet bills. Except I'm just a wee dog so I'm hoping for some human assistance with that....will you help me give back to my new family to help them with my veterinary care? They rescued me with no questions or hesitation, and saved my life.
