Keep Tia Comfortable and Adjust to Her New Life!

Our beloved queen of the house, Tia, was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her left rear leg. Tia is 11.5 years old, and our first dog - we love her more than anything. To keep this aggressive cancer at bay, we will have to amputate her leg and she will require chemotherapy. In order for her to live comfortably and hopefully pain-free, we will need to get her a custom wheelchair to distribute the extra weight evenly because her other limbs are compromised from multiple previous surgeries.

As we are learning quickly, this is going to be a massive lifestyle change, not only for Tia, but for us as well. We will have to outfit our house to fit the needs of her wheelchair to prevent slipping and other injuries. As much as we hate asking for help, the costs are quickly increasing due to the diagnostics, surgery, chemo, rehab, house adjustments and Sophie staying home for a bit to help Tia adjust to this massive life change. Any little bit helps us and we are so happy that we have this solution to keep her comfortable and happy as long as we can.
