Justice for Bailee: Fight Against Unfair School Actions

My name is Mandi Cutrer, and I am raising funds to support my daughter, Bailee. Bailee has been unfairly targeted and harassed by the Ocean Springs School District due to her friendship with Aubreigh. She has been falsely accused of creating and posting a TikTok video over the summer, which the school claims was used to threaten the four minors who were involved in bullying Aubreigh. Despite lacking evidence and any valid proof, the school held disciplinary hearings and unjustly found Bailee at fault. As a result, they decided that Bailee must attend an Alternative School for 45 days.

With the help of our attorney, we have fought this decision, appealing to the chancery court and youth court, but the fight for justice is ongoing. We are seeking financial assistance to continue this battle, with the goal of clearing Bailee’s academic record of these false allegations. Additionally, we plan to pursue legal action against the school district for violating Bailee’s constitutional rights and her right to due process.

Due to the disciplinary actions, Bailee is now unable to transfer to a neighboring district. We have had to remove her from the school to protect her from the ongoing harassment and trauma. Thankfully, a local private school has welcomed Bailee with open arms. However, there are still significant costs to cover, including tuition, supplies, uniforms, and other associated expenses.
