Jonathan Sveom Memorial
Donation protected
Jonathan Sveom went to bed Monday night 5/8 and passed away in his sleep. He was in a car accident on Saturday and hit his head on the windshield. He went to the ER where they did brain scans and released him from the hospital. His brother, Mike, noticed some swelling in Jonathan’s head on Monday but he didn’t want to go back to the hospital since he was already seen. He left behind family that cared for him deeply including; Jon (Father) and Marlene (Mother) Sveom, Steve Sveom (Brother), Crystal Moldenhauer (Sister), Michael Sveom (Brother), and Angela Schram (Sister). He also is leaving behind 4 beautiful children, Chloe, Caleb, Joci, Jacob, and his best friend and mother to his children, Cindi Sveom.
For the last several years, Jonathan struggled with addiction which tore apart his marriage and left him without money. If you have never struggled with addiction, count yourself lucky! I know he wanted to stop so that he could try and rekindle his marriage to Cindi and relationship with his kids. It saddens us to think that his life was cut short and wasn’t given the opportunity to get better. He will not be able to see his oldest daughter graduate high school this month. He will not be able to see Joci in another gymnastics meet, Jakey score a goal in soccer, or Caleb in another robotics meet.
Unfortunately, the burden of funeral expenses falls on his next of kin which is his 18 year old daughter, Chloe. I WILL NOT let this happen. I started a go fund me page to take this financial burden away from a high school student. Can you find it in your heart to contribute as much as you are able? Chloe needs to be able to grieve her father’s death without the financial burden of paying for his funeral. Chloe should be looking forward to high school graduation and starting her next chapter in life. If God willing, there is extra donated above the funeral expense, I will guarantee that every last penny goes to his kids.
