Hello, my name is Chloe… I am the granddaughter of Kathy.

Last Monday June 24th 2024, Kathy received a diagnosis of acute leukemia. She was supposed to start chemotherapy in Albany Medical a few days later on June 30th. Over the course of the week she was rapidly declining. Due to her health declining she was transported to Albany Medical Thursday June 27th. Over the course of the last couple days Kathy’s health has gotten progressively worse. She is currently on comfort care and reaching the end of life. The leukemia took over her body very fast. Everything has happened so quickly and we want to give her the best memorial we can. I can’t even begin to describe the type of person she was. Nothing I could ever say would truly give her the justice she deserves.

My Gigi will be leaving behind her husband of 40 years, her two children, four grandchildren and a great granddaughter due in August.

We are raising money towards medical bills, a more than deserved celebration of life and afterlife care. Anything that you can give is greatly appreciated and if you aren’t in a place to help please share with someone who might be able to. Any amount that you can help with will take the financial strain away from our family is greatly appreciated.
