Our family needs your love & support

It is with broken hearts that we share this news - Carrie and Phillip "Flip" want you to know that their boy, Jeddy passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024. Jed was so full of life and loved so deeply. He was kindhearted, a great friend to all, compassionate, loyal, goofy, fun, hilarious, intelligent, inquisitive, had gorgeous thick hair and lashes, mischievous, genuine, handsome, devoted, silly, sensitive, brave and so fun when he got to talking.

He had just made a 3-day drive to get to his mom (Carrie) and dad's (Flip) house in Wisconsin. Thankfully, he was home with them for 3 days before he died. They are so grateful to have had those precious few days with him.

As you can imagine, they were not prepared to lose a teenage son in any way, including financially. The family is respectfully requesting donations to help cover a portion of the costs that come with a loss this great. If you are able to contribute in any way, that would be preferred in lieu of flowers or any other gifts or mementos. Thank you in advance for your generous heart!

The family, of course, is devastated by this loss. We have been inundated with requests from family and friends about what else you can do. For those of you that knew Jeddy well, the best way to help right now is to send Carrie stories/memories with Jed and any photos you may have. Please understand she may not respond, but she would love it if you flooded her phone with those stories and pictures. She would also appreciate just a quick message - even a simple heart emoji to let her know you are thinking of them.

The main celebration of Jeddy's life will be on Friday, October 4th, 2024 from 4:00pm-6:00pm, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints ward building, located at 2828 Scenic Drive in Oshkosh, WI. If you are able to attend, you will have time beforehand to give your condolences with the service immediately following.

A second service will be held on Friday, October 18th in California for all the friends and family there. That service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints building located at 451 W. Bobier Drive, Vista, CA 92083. Visitation will begin at 4pm with the service at 5pm, then a dinner immediately following for family and invited friends.

A huge thank you to all who have donated already! If you are not able to donate, you can still help by sharing the fundraiser page - we truly appreciate your support!
