About Us

Hi! We are a small student film crew raising funds for our film "In Pantomime".

In Pantomime is a short film set in a theatre, where a director father and his actress daughter can only communicate through the world of performance. Blending expressionism with traditional stage craft, the film explores how their strained relationship unfolds through movement, rehearsal, and the unspoken language of art and performance.

So, where is your money going?

Our goal with this film is to show how people communicate through more than words—through movement, silence, and the moments in between. It’s a simple story about family, growing up, and learning to understand each other, all framed by the magic and nostalgia of the stage.

We’re raising funds to cover the essentials: securing our theatre location, supporting our cast and crew, costumes, lighting, and everything needed to bring this unique film to life.

We’re committed to making In Pantomime as sustainably as possible—using recycled set materials, low-impact lighting, minimal waste practices, and local crew and resources. Your support helps us prioritise these choices, covering the costs of eco-friendly materials, responsible production methods, and fair pay for the small team working to bring this story to life without compromising the planet.

We’re grateful for any support—big or small—that helps us bring In Pantomime to life.

Thank you!

In Pantomime team :)
