Ivan’s fight against Leukemia

May 22,2018 was the day our life changed. Our 3 year old son was diagnosed with leukemia (T-ALL). Around February Ivan started developing what we believed was a skin rash in both his arms and cheeks. Later, in May he started getting bruises all over his body. That’s when we decided it was no longer normal. We took Ivan to the ER after finding abnormal blood work he was then transferred to the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Not only were his white blood cell count extremely high at 331,000 but also his organs were enlarged. Ivan has received multiple blood and platelets transfusions, bone marrow biopsy’s, and spinal tap procedures. He’s currently undergoing chemotherapy. At the moment he’s receiving 4 chemotherapy’s a week. The next 6-9 months will be the hardest for our little boy. We’re asking for the support of our family and friends during this hard moment. No donation is too small; anything is highly appreciated. Most importantly we ask for your prayers to help us all through this and to get little Ivan healthy again.
