I hope this message finds you well and in good health. I am Suwar Muhammad, 14 years old. I am contacting you to seek support for my family of seven. They endured difficult and harsh conditions for more than 20 months of hell during the Gaza war, which shattered our dreams and aspirations. We lived through terrifying days and nights, and escaped certain death more than once. We moved from one house to another, escaping the hail of shells, until our house was completely bombed, destroying our neighborhood and streets .

But our willpower was stronger in the face of this hell, as we moved and were displaced more than once from one shelter to another in search of safety. Chapters of displacement began, in a tent that offered no protection from the summer heat or the winter cold, whose rains rained down on our bodies and belongings. Most of the insects and reptiles on earth accompanied us, as if we were in a barren desert, with no electricity, no water, and no human life. We had completely lost our humanity.

We were constantly searching for firewood to light for cooking, spending days and nights in hunger, lacking clean water, food supplies, health care, and medicine, not to mention the exorbitant prices of goods and products due to the closure and the ongoing war. What used to cost $5 has now become $50, amidst the difficult challenges.

I write to you my story and my plea, amidst the sound of bombs and explosions, the state of starvation and the loss of hope for a dignified human life, and the evaporation of my dreams and those of my brothers' dreams of completing our studies and achieving our ambitions. After the horizon has closed, the suffering has intensified, and the delivery of aid has been deliberately cut off.

Adam, 15, who was a top student and loved playing football and related activities. His dream of continuing his studies and practicing his hobby has been shattered. Today, he lights fires for us and spends all day filling water bottles.

Suwar, 14, a school presenter who consistently achieves top grades and has a talent and passion for drawing and self-expression, saw her dreams of completing her studies and developing her talent evaporate.

In addition, Salaf, 13, has suffered from asthma since birth and is now more vulnerable to it due to air pollution from smoke from shells and explosives, coupled with the lack of treatment and chest medications. She has also developed an infection that has spread throughout her thin body.

Fatima, 7, was preparing to enter her first grade at school and her only wish is to wear her school uniform.

Yahya (4 years old) grew up in an atmosphere of war, fleeing bombing and displacement from one place to another instead of going to kindergarten or nursery, not to mention his suffering throughout the war from malnutrition and scarcity of beneficial foods.

I am reaching out to you with humility and gratitude, to fulfill our dream of traveling and seeking asylum abroad to complete our education and develop our scientific and technical capabilities for a bright future.
