Haiti Earthquake Restoration Fund
Donation protected
Haiti was struck by a 7.2 magnitude Earthquake on August 14, 2021. On behalf of my community and neighbors of Beaumont, I am fundraising to rebuild my recently devastated community. Unfortunately, not only did people lose their homes but the church and schools have partially collapsed. With approximately 1,300 people dead and 6,000 wounded Haiti is in dire need for assistance. About 60% of Haitian live below the poverty line. This recent natural disaster exacerbates the issue. Most of the homes in the area are now in rubble. It breaks my heart to see these families struggle to survive including an elderly neighbor and her great grandson who has Down syndrome sleeping under tarps. Help will not get to them anytime soon due to the damages throughout the country because of their location. I’m kindly asking for your support to help rebuild this community and give these families a roof over their head and food in their stomach. Whatever you are able to contribute will be greatly appreciated.
