Hip replacement surgery-please help me reach the finish line
Donation protected
Hi, I'm David and am hoping that enough people will donate to my medical fund to complete my goal of hip replacement surgery so I can get back to leading a normal life. As many of you know, I’ve been going through some major medical challenges over the past few years. Right now, due to progressive Osteoarthritis, a degenerative joint disease, my condition has advanced to the point of complete cartilage loss in my left hip - making it impossible to walk.
Recently, I have been living in an assisted living facility as I await hip surgery. I am very close to meeting the qualifications for surgery. Unfortunately, I’ve just been informed that my insurance will no longer continue my benefits — leaving me without coverage for the critical care I need. This complication is so disheartening, as my home is not designed to be wheelchair friendly and my only real option is to pay out-of-pocket for room and board at my existing facility until the operation is completed and I can begin at-home recovery after a day or two of post-surgery observation.
Which is the reason for my fundraiser. This surgery isn’t optional for me — it’s essential. Without it, I can’t walk, live independently, or regain any quality of life. I’ve reached a point where I have no other choice but to ask for help. It’s extremely difficult for me to do this, but I’m humbly asking for your support. My wife and I don't have the financial resources to pay for the assisted living and run a household. Your donation, no matter how small, will help cover medical expenses, rehabilitation, and related costs during this overwhelming time. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this with others who might be able to help. I would be incredibly thankful and grateful for any assistance you could afford to pass along. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and please consider making a donation and a difference in my life.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support.
