This is Henry, he desperately needs surgery for a spinal injury. We saved him from the fire when our garage and house burned down November 22nd. We lost all three vehicles and are in temporary housing. We're 75 and 79 years old on a limited income but are still doing everything we can to save Henry but we need help. He went out last night to go to the bathroom before bed. He wouldn't come up the steps so I carried him in and he seemed to walk to his crate ok. He woke us up at 2am in pain and we rushed him to the emergency vet who sent him to a surgeon. He needs spinal surgery at the cost of $12,000. We gave them all of our savings as a down payment but will need to pay the rest to pick him up and take him home. Please help! He's only 2 and one of the only things we have left from our house that I built with my Dad 42 years ago. My husband and I are both disabled, I survived cancer during COVID and he had a heart attack and pacemakers put in. The stress and heartbreak from losing our home is almost too much. We can't lose Henry too.
