Helping Jerron's Family Rebuild from Tragedy

Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

I'm Carl Albritton, it is with a heavy heart that I (we) share the heartbreaking news of the murder of our beloved nephew Jerron A. Albritton, a loving father, dedicated son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to all he came in contact with.

As reported in the Ft Worth Star Telegram, when the gunfire ended late Wednesday, 21 June, at the Handley Oaks Apartments, four people who had been shot were on the ground in three corners of the square courtyard at the east Fort Worth building. Beyond tearing into the bodies, rounds pierced brick walls, window glass, a television and a China closet. A flare of anger earlier in the night erupted again about 11:30 p.m. and became an all-out war. Jerron Albritton, 38, was shot twice and died at the scene according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Our heart breaks for Jerron, his family; wife Diamonique, children Jalaya 19, Trinity 17, Dmarion 16, Karlitha 14, Jerron Jr 14, Karlaysia 8, Tahji 7, Jaiden 6, Geremiah 5, Gerreon 4, Legaci 2 and Jersiah 1 (we celeberated his 1st birthday on June 24th), as they now face the unimaginable task of moving forward without him.

The weight of this senseless tragedy is unimaginable; however, Diamonique and the children find solace in the love and support of their family and friends. They are surrounded by loved ones who are holding them close during their time of sorrow.

We aim to ease Jerron’s family's financial burdens by launching this GoFundMe campaign. This campaign serves as an opportunity for family, friends and the community to rally together and demonstrate our unwavering support for this family in their time of need.

Your generous contributions will directly support the family’s immediate needs. Funeral expenses can place a significant financial burden on any family, and we want to help alleviate this stress, allowing them to focus on healing and remembering his beautiful spirit. The family must relocate from Texas back to Louisiana, we have a house but it requires some significant work/renovations for the kids to move in. Additionally, there will be childcare and educational expenses. This senseless tragedy will add an extra layer of financial strain on the family.

Together, we can help alleviate some of this burden, ensuring that the family has the resources they need to heal and rebuild their lives. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference and show Jerron's family the love and support they desperately need right now.

Beyond financial contributions, we humbly request your continued prayers, love and support for this family. Please share this campaign with your network to raise awareness about gun violence and the impact it has on those left behind. By fostering a supportive community, we can strive to prevent other families from experiencing similar tragedies.

In memory of Jerron, let us unite to honor his legacy, celebrate his love for his wife children and family and provide the support his family desperately needs. Your generosity will make a profound difference in the lives of his children, ensuring they grow up knowing that their father's memory is cherished, and that they are embraced by a community that deeply cares for their well-being.

In times of darkness, it is the light of compassion and empathy that can guide us towards hope. We extend our deepest gratitude for your love and support during this heart-wrenching time. Let us show Jerron’s family that they are not alone, and that their story has touched countless hearts.
From the depths of our hearts, we express our sincerest gratitude for your generosity and consideration.

With love and hope,

The Albritton-Wise Family
