Help two babies Khaled and Nahil escape the war in Gaza
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Sarah, from Leeds in the UK and I'm taking over from the amazing work that Erin has already done to help Worod, her husband Ahmed and her two children, Khaled and Nahil.
Erin has been supporting Worod for many years but now has other commitments so has handed over management to me. You can see all the work they've done together in the updates on the previous GoFund Me page.
Worod is a recent graduate in media studies from the University of Palestine has been trying, with her husband Ahmed, to evacuate from Rafah to Egypt. They have lost many relatives and are living in a tent in Rafah with their two very young children, but life has got very hard with prices for basic necessities. They want to leave so they and their children can be safe and start a new life but the borders are currently closed so the donations are going to supporting them in the camp. Worod is amazing and tracks every donation and everything she spends so you can know exactly where your donations are going. I've included her story in her own words below because I think it's better to hear it from her:
"My husband and wife do not have a job, and my children and I need money to be able to live, to buy food, drink, diapers for my children and milk."

"Our goal is that if the crossings are opened, we want to leave Gaza. We no longer have work, a home or future to cling to in Gaza. It has become a jungle in Gaza."
"I am tired of the many wars and conflicts. My children deserve a better life.

I am a successful woman in my studies. My husband and I studied media at university and we met at university and then we got married.
I ranked first in my university class in Media and Information Technology."
"There is no education, no future, not even treatment or medicine in Gaza. I want to leave Gaza, to start a new life."
"Now we use all donations to spend and buy all our daily needs, such as food, vegetables, medicine, clothes, diapers and milk."

"We are living in a difficult famine in Gaza. These are very difficult days, because of the closure of the crossings. The price of goods is very high"
Worod and myself will try and provide daily updates. Even if you only have a small bit to donate, if you feel passionate about this current crisis then please consider helping this incredible and strong woman. Thank you, sincerely.
I know a lot of people are feeling very powerless right now, but this is a direct way to help and support a wonderful family.
