In September of 2025, I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. Since then, I've been through hormone therapy, six rounds of chemotherapy, and countless appointments for blood work, imaging, and specialist follow-ups. The port installed for chemotherapy needs monthly maintenance, and while insurance covers some costs, many expenses are starting to pile up.

Although treatments so far have been successful, I recently learned I will need to begin a course of radiation in the coming weeks, which is also preceded by a number of scans. This means I will need to take more time off work, and unfortunately, I am currently out of sick time. On top of everything, my car broke down beyond repair in May 2026, and I need a reliable vehicle to get to my appointments. I would use funds raised to help me get to appointments and work.
