12/20 UPDATE:
We have secured a motel until January 2nd. All donations from today will help keep my phone on and extend our room so we have a private and safe space. Where I am able to leave and continue to secure a job. I have a lot of calls to make on Monday plus my lawyer and I are still working on my unemployment case as my Store Manager knows I left Atlanta for DV and was supposed to be transferred that is an absolute right for me to receive unemployment. Let’s continue to pray and send the good energy.
If anyone has true leads on employment or private rooms, please share to first name dot last name at gmail.
I am extremely grateful for everyone sharing the link and donating their love to keep us safe in LA. Thank you a billion times and Happy Holidays!! We’ll be sure to stay in Joy and spend Christmas at Venice Beach. Sedona’s new favorite spot.
I’ll have to update with photos :)

After slowly getting back on my feet physically and mentally from a rare hip/thigh surgery (that I’m still recovering from), I was ready for a fresh start. I signed an 18-month lease in Atlanta, and six months in, my living situation became unsafe due to a toxic roommate including my dog. I had to call the police for domestic violence, they went to jail for 2 days, and I immediately informed my store manager at Anthropologie that I needed to break my lease for my safety and mental health. I was going to take this time to relocate to LA for the betterment of my mental health and wellness. She empathized and said she fully supported my transfer to Los Angeles, giving me hope for a new beginning.
The transfer process seemed smooth, and on July 16th, I was told my position at the Manhattan Beach location was confirmed but was still going through the process. My lease in Culver City was also confirmed through my employment. I had already interviewed with the store manager and district manager, who said I was perfect for the team and wanted to negotiate a higher pay rate based on my KPIs. I sold everything in my home and only took five suitcases and my dog, Sedona to LA. On July 31st, the day of my going away party and the night before my 5am flight, I received an email saying the store manager at Manhattan Beach decided to move forward with another candidate. At the same time, my new roommate in LA requested the leasing office to take me off due to my employment status. Losing my job and my home the day I’m relocating sounds wildly crazy but redirection is truly protection. God brought me out here, so I know he will sustain me.
Unfortunately, Anthropologie is saying that I quit and that's why I'm unable to get unemployment at this moment. I have a Lawyer on the case because I am very much so owed government assistance for my safety and reasoning of transferring. -- Either way, I have been growing and glowing with some beautiful humans that's been supportive of my journey and craft during this time. Thank you for caring about my well being as an independent creative. We're always talking about how the state of the world should not be the case, but were so grateful that community is better than anything. We're all seeking for that love, so thank you for your generosity <3.
This fresh start is truly the next volume of my life that I have been enjoying except the housing is tough here. On another note, My casting & talent agency is about to celebrate its 10th anniversary on December 27th, and although I am currently displaced and asking for donations, I am determined to keep moving forward.
I have to move on December 21st, and the funds raised will help me secure an immediate safe home for Sedona and I.
$4,500 - First month's rent and deposit, and immediate house needs
$1,250 - Eye glasses, prescription, acupuncture, and medical visits.
$500 - Verizon cell phone bill
$1,250 - Business overhead needs
Your support would mean the world to me and show that humanity can save us. Thank You for reading sharing and donating!
Peace, Love, and Many Blessings!!!
