Help Us Honor Jaxx Adonis, Our Brave Little Fighter
Donation protected
Our son, Jaxx Adonis, was born a fighter. From the moment we knew of his existence, Jaxx showed us what true resilience looked like. Diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) during my pregnancy, our little warrior faced challenges most would never imagine.
Jaxx was born prematurely and underwent heart surgery before he was even two months old. His road to recovery was difficult, with respiratory complications and other hurdles along the way. Despite these challenges, Jaxx's spirit never wavered. He was smart, funny, and knew just how to bring a smile to everyone around him.
To help him thrive, the doctors recommended a tracheostomy and g-tube placement, which would allow Jaxx to finally come home. After 12 long weeks in the ICU, we were finally given a discharge date. We dreamed of the day Jaxx would leave the hospital and come home with us.
But tragically, Jaxx never made it home. After 18 weeks and 5 days, from NICU to pediatric cardiac ICU, just five days before his discharge, our sweet boy passed away. The loss of Jaxx has been devastating beyond words. He fought so hard, with every breath, every heartbeat, and we know he deserved so much more- so much more life, more love, more time with his family.
We are heartbroken, but we want to honor Jaxx's memory in a way that reflects the strength, courage, and love he brought into our lives.
