My mom recently passed away a couple of days before she turned 70. My step dad Tommy is a disabled Veteran and with my mom’s passing he needs some financial support to help him during this transitional time. His landlord gave him an 30 day eviction notice when he told them he would not be able to pay his full rent on time as he has since moving into his little rental more than 10 years ago. He did let them know he will pay his full rent but part would be at the beginning of the month and he will work on the rest. He has cancelled his cell phone and internet and anything that he does not need. We are helping as much as we can but he would really benefit from some community support right now.
