Hi all - as many of you know, my brother Todd lives in a group home owned by the San Diego chapter of NAMI (National Association of Mental Illness). He and his 5 housemates rely on benefits such as SNAP to pay for food and day-to-day expenses.

With the government shutdown, they will be losing those benefits. Todd is lucky to have family to help out, but his housemates don’t. Unfortunately, Shaun and I can’t help everyone, so I’m asking our amazing community to help by sending just a bit to help them through the uncertainty of the next few months.
