Hey everyone…

As you may know my beloved dog Hemi had to be rushed for emergency veterinary care a few days ago on August 5. We started at Eastwood Animal clinic where Dr. Bruce took X-rays and blood work and gave him medication which cost $1300 he then sent us home. The next day Hemi was in extremely worst condition… I called around to a bunch of Vets and was directed to go to SAVES in NH where we spent hours waiting and all the nurse could do was give him IV fluids to stabilise him so we can get him to Burlington Emergency and Veterinary safely for $800.

He spent the night there and had an ultrasound the next morning where they found an abscess on his enlarged prostate and that his perianal hernia surgery had failed…because it is all happening on a weekend there are no surgeons available to cut on a Friday Saturday or Sunday… so hemi has to stay the weekend in the hospital costing over $5000. He is due to go into surgery on Monday which will more then likely add another $5000 - $7000 to the bill.

I have had Hemi since he was 2 months old… I love Hemi as if he were my own flesh and blood. Just last week we were playing ball, going on walks and swimming in the river… I know it’s not his time to go and that’s why I am getting him the surgery to prolong his life.

I don’t usually like asking for help for anything but I’m asking for Hemi because his life is depending on this surgery.
