Hi, my name is Adriana, and I’m raising funds to support my neighbors, Jonathan and Ena.

Earlier today, while out on a walk, I came across a tiny kitten on the side of the highway. She was severely malnourished, sick, and so weak she didn’t even react when my dog approached her. It was clear she needed immediate help.

Just two weeks ago, Jonathan and Ena experienced a heartbreaking loss. Their beloved kitten, Ollie, passed away after a four-week fight in the hospital due to a serious virus. Knowing what they had just gone through, I couldn’t stop thinking about them when I found this kitten.

I rushed home and told them, and without hesitation, they stepped in to help. They rescued this fragile little life and are now doing everything they can to nurse her back to health.

After already facing over $3,000 in veterinary bills from Ollie’s care, they are now taking on additional medical expenses to give this kitten a second chance. Their kindness and willingness to love again so soon after loss is truly inspiring.

Jonathan is an active-duty Marine stationed in Okinawa, and Ena is a recent college graduate here in Okinawa. As a newly married couple, they have already shown incredible compassion and generosity, and any support would mean so much to them during this time.
