Saint is a six-year-old French Bulldog who has already overcome so much in his life. Rescued nearly four years ago from the French Bulldog Rescue Network, he arrived with a host of health issues. Thanks to the dedication of his new owner and the support of the rescue, Saint was able to recover and enjoy a happy, loving home.
On Monday night, Saint suddenly began to bloat and was rushed to the emergency vet. He was diagnosed with GDV (Gastric dilation and volvulus), a condition that usually affects larger dogs and is often fatal if not treated immediately. Saint underwent emergency surgery on Tuesday and, despite coding three times during the procedure, the incredible veterinary team was able to revive him each time. He spent three days in the ICU, fighting for his life.
Saint’s owner now faces overwhelming vet bills, and unlike before, she must cover these costs on her own. She lives alone and has already given so much to help Saint recover from his past health struggles. Saint still has a long road ahead—he continues to face breathing issues that need treatment—but he’s a fighter who has overcome so many hurdles already. Any support for Saint and his loving owner would mean the world. Thank you for helping give Saint another chance at life.
