Help Sadie Lou Recover After Tornado Survival

On May 16th, our lives were changed forever when an F4 tornado ripped through our home in London, Kentucky. In that terrifying moment, our beloved dog Sadie Lou was sucked out of our house as it was destroyed. Despite endless searching, we were never able to recover her—until now.

Four months later, a miracle happened. Sadie Lou was spotted on a security camera at Burkman Feeds, just one mile from where our home once stood. She had been surviving alone in the woods, coming out only at night to search for food. A kind security guard captured her photo and shared it online, and we instantly knew—it was our Sadie Lou!

Thanks to the incredible nonprofit Timing is Everything Search and Rescue and their dedicated rescuer, Carmi Rockwell, Sadie Lou was finally trapped and brought to safety. We rushed her straight to the veterinary hospital for urgent care.

But after four long months of surviving on her own, Sadie Lou is in rough shape. Before the tornado, she weighed 115 pounds. Today, she is down to just 59 pounds, malnourished, weak, and in desperate need of continued medical treatment and rehabilitation.

We are asking for your help to give Sadie Lou the second chance she deserves. Every donation will go directly toward her veterinary bills, medicine, proper nutrition, and ongoing care to bring her back to health.
