Our dear friend Sabatino had an unexpected seizure while driving his van on September 3rd. The accident that followed left him with a broken hip, 5 fractured ribs, and 2 fractured vertebrae. The van, which was his home, was completely destroyed, and he is now recovering in a homeless shelter.

For those of you who know Sabatino from the festival scene, you know he’s a dedicated and hardworking collaborator who has always shown up for others. Sabatino was aware of his seizures and was actively trying to get medication for his condition before this accident, but due to the inefficiencies of Medi-Cal and our health care system, the system failed to get him the help he needed in time. This GoFundMe is a chance for us to show up for him during this difficult time.
