Baku Street Dog Rescue  rescue rehabilitate and rehome street dogs rescued from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Street dogs are constantly at risk from being shot, tortured and left to die from treatable conditions.  They are often found starving and wandering the streets.  Mis-understood by the majority of people where local authorities will pay private individuals to shot them even though it is now supposedly illegal to do so and no action is ever taken.  Baku Street Dog Rescue are a very small group of private individuals who work with the dogs (and some cats) with volunteers with Baku, London and New York to provide our dogs with the best care possible.  Without donations we are unable to continue our work.  Below is a breakdown of estimated costs for each dog we pick off the street.  So far we have been able to save over 500 dogs and hope to continue to do this:
