Renee Loch is a hard-working woman who has faced more than her share of challenges. Seven years ago, she lost her husband, and since then, she’s worked multiple jobs just to make ends meet. Upkeeping her 10 acre property became overwhelming, and she was excited to transition to a simpler lifestyle. After a long and difficult sale process, we finally had a great deal in place. Renee was set to close on the sale of her home on December 5th, with plans to use the proceeds to build a new home near one of her sons and start a new chapter in her life.
Tragically, in the early hours of December 4th, a fire broke out in Renee’s home. The fire started at 2:30am and quickly spread, leaving the house a total loss by the time the fire department put it out around 5:30am. Renee wasn’t staying at the home that night—she had just finished cleaning and preparing it for the buyer’s final walk-through. When she arrived at the property later that morning, she was met with devastation. The home was paid off, but without homeowner’s insurance, Renee now faces the loss of everything she worked so hard for, even if she’s able to sell the land.
Renee is a devoted mother to 4 adult sons and a proud grandmother to 9 grandchildren. Her favorite occasions are simply being together at family events and activities, surrounded by the people she loves most. These funds will help Renee secure temporary lodging and make up for the money lost from the sale of her home. As her realtor, I ask you to kindly consider giving anything possible to help Renee overcome this tragic obstacle in her life. She works so hard and really deserves a positive break through any support we can give her. You never think these things are possible, until it happens to someone close to you. Any donation you can make is greatly appreciated by Renee and her family.
