Trevor & I are asking for your help to give our sweet senior dog Ralphie a chance to keep seeing the world he’s just begun to rediscover.

Ralphie came into our lives recently after being surrendered to a shelter. His previous owner lost their housing, and Ralphie — already in his golden years — found himself alone and confused. We adopted him to give him the love and stability he deserves, and he’s quickly become part of our family.

Ralphie is the sweetest dog you could ever meet. He loves going for walks, snuggling up for cuddles, and playing with his toys like a puppy. His gentle nature and joyful spirit have brought so much warmth into our home.

But Ralphie is now facing a heartbreaking challenge: he’s already lost vision in one eye, and the other is clouded by a cataract that threatens to take away his sight completely. Without surgery, Ralphie could soon be completely blind.

Cataract surgery could restore vision in his remaining eye and dramatically improve his quality of life. The estimated cost for the procedure, including pre-op testing and post-op care, is around $6,500 — a cost we’re struggling to cover on our own.
