Hi! My name is Hannah, and this guy is Pony the horse.

I rescued Pony 2 years ago from a neglect situation, and have been working hard to rehabilitate him and give him the life he deserves. True to his breed (a Morgan / Arab cross), he's super smart and has been learning quickly. He has a hilarious personality (thinks he's the biggest horse at the barn, is always looking for food, loves to hold things in his mouth and wave them around) and is so willing to please. Despite his history, he is a great little horse.

But poor Pony has injured himself, and the vet bills are going to be substantial. I am asking for help to cover some of the costs so I can provide the best treatment possible. Right now, the vet is pretty sure this is a suspensory injury but needs to do an ultrasound to confirm. He will need shockwave therapy and 6-12 months of walking only. It's going to be a process...

Times are tough for all of us, and I recognize owning a horse is a luxury. As a commercial interior designer, I have been essentially out of work for the past year and have been living off of loans and my (now depleted) savings. But this little guy has been keeping me grounded and hopeful through the pandemic and I want to do everything I can for him.
