Our beloved 8-year-old pit bull was recently hit by a car and suffered a traumatic injury to his back leg. We rushed him to the emergency vet and paid $2,300 out of pocket for the visit, X-rays, medication, and a procedure called a closed-reduction to try to get the hip back in place.

Unfortunately, the dislocation didn’t hold—and now the only option left to give him a real chance at walking again, living pain-free, and enjoying life is FHO (femoral head ostectomy) surgery.

He’s more than just a pet—he’s family. He’s been by our side for eight years, full of love, loyalty, and gentle affection. Seeing him in pain and unable to move like he used to is heartbreaking.

We’re doing everything we can, but the cost of surgery is more than we can afford on our own right now. That’s why we’re asking for help from anyone who can give, no matter the amount. Every dollar will go directly toward the surgery, post-op care, and helping our boy get back on his feet.
