On November 15th, a fire started in Olivia and Max Zirkle's apartment building due to a neighbor leaving a space heater on their wooden balcony overnight. This destroyed four of the ten units. Later that night, the fire reignited and spread to the top floor, destroying eight of the ten units. Olivia and Max were lucky that their apartment was one of two that only sustained heavy smoke damage and no fire. They were out of town at the time of the fire, but their cat, Willow, was in the apartment. Thankfully, she is safe and now reunited with Olivia, Max, and Bo (their dog who was safe at dog daycare over the weekend).
Over the next few weeks, they will be dealing with hotel expenses while they find a new place to live, moving costs, replacing furniture, and cleaning fees. They are so appreciative of all the support as they navigate through this!
